GEO for IT companies
Your buyer no longer asks Google which IT company to call. They ask a model. That model names three companies. We make sure one of them is yours.
In short
- IT buying starts with a question to an AI assistant, and that conversation sets the shortlist before anyone visits your site.
- 94% of B2B buyers now use language models in their buying process, while they still have sixteen points of contact with the winning supplier on average (6sense, November 2025).
- We work only for IT and B2B tech companies. MSPs, SaaS, cybersecurity, hardware and IT services. One market, one vocabulary, one set of questions that really matters.
- Every project starts with a baseline across several engines, so there is no discussion afterwards about what changed.
- We do not guarantee positions. They do not exist in an AI answer. We steer on the chance that you get named, and we measure it every month.
Why IT companies feel this sooner
Three things make the IT market different from the average B2B market.
- The buyer is technical and searches on their own.An IT manager looking for an MSP does not call an agency. They ask a model, read the answer, and already have a picture of who the serious players are.
- The question is comparative by nature.Hardly anyone asks "what is an MSP". People ask "which MSP suits an organisation of 250 employees with Azure and an ISO obligation". That is exactly the kind of question for which a model produces a list of names.
- The market is full of almost identical providers. When fifty companies promise the same thing, the choice falls on the one that explains most clearly what it does, for whom, and how it is different. Models reward exactly that clarity.
What we do
1. Baseline
We write 20 to 30 questions your buyers really ask and put them to several engines. The outcome shows who gets named, how you are described when you are named, and which sources the engine cites. That last list is your work plan.
2. Make your site readable for AI
Letting AI crawlers in on purpose, schema.org markup that records your organisation as an entity, an llms.txt, and an information structure in which every service has its own clearly defined page.
3. Quotable content
Pages that answer in the first paragraph, with a number, a source and an FAQ. Written in your voice, about your market, with the terms your buyers use.
4. Mentions outside your domain
Trade media, comparison articles, review platforms and industry overviews. We start with the sources the engine already cites today for your core question, because that is the shortest route to being named.
5. Monthly measurement
The same questions, the same engines, every month. One report your board reads in five minutes.
Per segment
The questions buyers ask differ per corner of the IT market, so the work differs too.
- GEO for MSPs. Regional and vertical questions, certifications, SLA language.
- GEO for SaaS companies. Comparison and alternative questions, integrations, review platforms.
- GEO for cybersecurity. Compliance, NIS2, and the high burden of proof this market puts on sources.

What we do not promise
Three things, so you do not have to ask.
- No guaranteed positions. An AI answer has no position 1, and two users get different answers at the same moment. Anyone who promises you a position is selling something that does not exist.
- No flood of extra website traffic in the short term.Measured across 107,000 websites, all AI assistants together sent 0.39% of referral traffic, against 26.4% for Google (Ahrefs, June 2026). The gain is in the shortlist, not in the sessions.
- No result within a month. The technical layer works within weeks. Mentions outside your domain need months. That is why we work with a baseline and a monthly measurement.

Questions from IT companies
Why a GEO agency that only works for IT companies?
Because most of the work is knowing the questions buyers ask and the sources that carry authority in that market. Those questions and sources differ a lot per sector. An agency that does a dental practice today and an MSP tomorrow starts from scratch every time.
We already have an SEO agency. Does that clash?
No, and usually the two work together. GEO and SEO share the technical foundation, so what your SEO agency does for crawlability, speed and schema counts here too. We do not touch your existing ranking pages without talking to you first. The GEO work sits in new pages, in structure and in mentions outside your domain.
How do we know it works?
From the baseline and its monthly repeat. The same 20 to 30 questions, the same engines, every month. You see whether you get named, how you are described and which sources shift. That report is short enough on purpose to put in front of a board.
Do we have to write content ourselves?
No. We write, you approve. What we do need is access to people who know the subject, usually one hour a month with a consultant or engineer. The details that hour produces are exactly the difference between a text that gets quoted and one that does not.
Do you also work for companies outside IT?
Our specialism is IT and B2B tech. MSPs, SaaS, cybersecurity, hardware and IT services. For B2B companies outside that, we look case by case at whether we know enough about the market to add value. If not, we say so.
