GEO for MSPs

The question is almost never "what is an MSP". The question is which MSP fits this organisation, in this region, with these obligations.

In short

  • MSP questions to AI almost always combine size, region, platform, certification and sector in one sentence. If you never answer those combinations explicitly, you drop out of the answer.
  • Your region is a hard filter. A model that processes "MSP in North Brabant" looks for sources in which those two terms appear together, word for word.
  • Certifications (ISO 27001, Microsoft Solutions Partner, NIS2 readiness) are facts a model can check. They belong on your site as text, not only as a logo.
  • Review platforms and regional industry overviews carry more weight in this segment than in the rest of IT.
  • Every month we measure a fixed set of MSP questions from your region and show which sources the engine cites for them.

What an MSP question looks like

When an IT manager or director asks an AI assistant, the question rarely looks like a keyword. More often it looks like this.

  • "Which MSP can take over IT management for an organisation of 250 employees on Microsoft 365 and Azure?"
  • "Which managed service providers in North Brabant are ISO 27001 certified?"
  • "What does outsourced IT management cost per workstation per month in the Netherlands?"
  • "Which MSP has experience with the healthcare sector and NEN 7510?"

Every question combines two to four properties. A model answers it by looking for sources in which those properties appear together. If your site only says "we take care of your IT", there is nothing to hold on to.

What we change for MSPs

Facts a model can check

The regions you work in, written out. The platforms you manage, by name. Certifications as text, with number and year. Response times and SLA levels in numbers. The workstation counts you are good at. It sounds boring, and it is exactly what gets used.

One page per combination that really matters

Not fifty landing pages, but a handful of real ones. Your strongest vertical, your strongest platform, your region. Each with the answer in the first paragraph and an FAQ below it.

The sources outside your site

Regional business media, IT trade media, review platforms and the industry overviews your buyers look at. We start with the sources the engine already cites today for the questions from your region.

What is GEO?

Frequently asked questions

Questions from MSPs

Does GEO work if we only work regionally?

Especially then. Regional questions are easier for a model to answer than national ones, because there are fewer candidates. The condition is that your region appears somewhere as literal text, on your own site and on sources outside it. A map in the footer does not count.

We have ISO 27001. So why does AI not name us?

Usually for three reasons. The certification is only on the site as a logo, not as text. The combination with your region or audience is never written out. And no independent source confirms it. Models prefer facts they see in more than one place.

How long does this take for an MSP?

The technical layer and the first quotable pages are usually live within four to six weeks. Shifts in who gets named for regional or vertical questions usually show after two to four months, depending on how crowded your segment is and how many external mentions you start with.

Is your MSP named in your region?

We put the MSP questions from your region to several engines and show you who gets named today.
